Founder-led course sales
A course creator watches a Slack channel for each sale and sees at the same time that Kit has tagged the buyer, so a welcome note can follow.

Native integration
Tell your team in Slack when a buyer is tagged in Kit, or when a Kit tag or form signup happens.
No credit card required. No coding required.
Kit (ConvertKit)
SlackKit does not post to Slack through Plandalf on its own. Plandalf runs both sides: a paid-checkout sequence can tag the buyer in Kit and send a Slack message, and a Kit trigger such as Tag Added or Subscriber Joined Form can start a sequence that posts to Slack. Both are connected under Automation, Marketplace.
| Event | From and to | Through | What happens |
|---|---|---|---|
| Checkout completed | Plandalf → Kit | Native step | Tag Subscriber adds the Customer tag and creates the subscriber if Kit has not seen the email. |
| Checkout completed | Plandalf → Slack | Native step | Send Slack Message in the same sequence posts a line such as the buyer's name and what they bought. The message can read {{trigger.line_items_summary}}. |
| Subscriber joined form | Kit → Slack | Native step | Plandalf adds the Kit webhook when you save the trigger. The sequence then posts to a channel, for example when someone joins a high-intent landing page. |
| Tag added | Kit → Slack | Native step | Pick the Tag on the trigger to fire for one tag only, so Slack hears about VIP tags and not every tag change. |
| Invoice refunded | Stripe → Slack | Native step | The Slack notifications recipe posts every refund, partial ones included. The Kit tag removal in the refund template runs only on full refunds by default. |
You need a Kit V4 API key, permission to add apps to your Slack workspace, and a Plandalf checkout.
In Automation, Marketplace, choose Kit and paste the V4 key from Settings, Developer. Use the V4 key, not the legacy V3 one.
Choose Slack, click Add to Slack and Allow. No API key is needed. For a private channel, add the Plandalf app to the channel in Slack first.
Create a sequence on Plandalf, Checkout Completed. Add Kit, Tag Subscriber with {{trigger.customer_email}} and a Customer tag.
Add Slack, Send Slack Message after the Kit step and choose a channel. Write it in Slack formatting, for example *{{trigger.customer_first_name}}* just joined the list as a customer.
Create a second sequence with Kit, Tag Added to Subscriber as the trigger and a specific tag. Its only step posts to a channel for your sales team.
A step test posts for real, so tell the channel first. In My apps switch on Post automation failures to Slack so a failed Kit step shows up there.
A course creator watches a Slack channel for each sale and sees at the same time that Kit has tagged the buyer, so a welcome note can follow.
A launch team posts to a Slack channel when someone joins a specific Kit form, so the person who replies to leads knows who just joined before the offer opens.
