Membership with a newsletter
A creator keeps lessons in Kajabi and the weekly newsletter in Kit. Each buyer gets the course offer and a Kit tag so only members receive the member edition.

Native integration
One paid checkout grants the Kajabi offer and tags the buyer in Kit, from a single Plandalf sequence.
No credit card required. No coding required.
Kajabi
Kit (ConvertKit)Plandalf does not sync Kajabi with Kit. It sits between them: a sequence that starts when a Plandalf checkout is paid can run a Kajabi Grant Offer step and Kit steps such as Tag Subscriber, one after the other. Both apps are connected under Automation, Marketplace, each with its own credentials.
| Event | From and to | Through | What happens |
|---|---|---|---|
| Checkout completed | Plandalf → Kajabi | Native step | Grant Offer creates the Kajabi contact if needed, unlocks every product in the offer and runs Kajabi's own automations for it. A second grant for the same offer does nothing. |
| Checkout completed | Plandalf → Kit | Native step | Tag Subscriber adds a tag such as Kajabi Customer and creates the Kit subscriber if the email is new. This is the segment your broadcasts use. |
| Upsell accepted | Plandalf → Kajabi | Native step | A separate sequence on this trigger can grant a second offer for the add-on and give the Kit subscriber an extra tag. |
| Invoice refunded | Stripe → Kajabi | Native step | The Remove access on refund template adds Revoke Offer for Kajabi and Remove Tag from Subscriber for Kit to one sequence. |
| Tag added | Kit → Plandalf | Native step | A Kit tag can start a Plandalf sequence. Kajabi has no triggers, so this direction only exists on the Kit side. |
You need a Kajabi plan with the Public API, a Kit account where you can create a V4 key, and a published Plandalf checkout.
Under Automation, Marketplace, choose Kajabi and enter the Client ID, Client Secret and Site ID from Settings, Public API. Use the client ID and secret, not the pair Kajabi shows for Zapier.
In the same Marketplace, connect Kit with a V4 API key from Settings, Developer. Use a name like Plandalf for the key.
In My Sequences make one called Buyers to Kajabi and Kit. Choose Plandalf, Checkout Completed, pick the checkout under Offer, and pick a recent checkout on the Test tab.
Add Kajabi, Grant Offer with Email Address {{trigger.customer_email}}, your Offer and Name {{trigger.customer_name}}. Putting access first means the buyer is in before any email asks them to log in.
Add Kit, Tag Subscriber with the same email and a tag such as Kajabi Customer. Add Add Subscriber to Sequence if you want a Kit onboarding sequence, which must be active.
Switch on Run on test purchases, buy with a test card using your own email, and check the Events view. Then add Remove access on refund for the same checkout and set the Kajabi offer and Kit tag.

Basic and Plus offers are separate Kajabi offers. Two sequences, one per Plandalf checkout, grant the matching offer and tag the Kit subscriber with the tier.
