Kit (ConvertKit) is a step inside a Plandalf sequence. When a checkout completes, an invoice is paid or a buyer takes an upsell, the Kit (ConvertKit) step can add subscriber to sequence, add subscriber to form, tag subscriber, remove tag from subscriber, update subscriber fields and find or create subscriber, with the buyer's email and name, the products and the price paid already filled in. Connect the account once, from inside the sequence editor.

Set it up
Connect Kit (ConvertKit) in three steps
The short version. No code unless you want it.
- 1
Pick the trigger
Open Automations, start a sequence and choose what starts it. Checkout completed is the usual one; invoice paid, invoice refunded, upsell accepted and cart abandoned are there too.
- 2
Add a Kit (ConvertKit) step
Add a step and choose Kit (ConvertKit). The first time, Plandalf asks you to connect your Kit (ConvertKit) account, right there in the editor.
- 3
Choose the action and switch it on
Pick add subscriber to sequence, add subscriber to form, tag subscriber, remove tag from subscriber, update subscriber fields, find or create subscriber. The buyer, products and price are already on the event; map any extra fields, then turn the sequence on and run a test checkout to watch it fire.
- Also with Promos: drop the Plandalf countdown image into a Kit broadcast; enrol Kit subscribers via a Visual Automation. Promos docs →

Questions
Common questions about Kit (ConvertKit) and Plandalf
The short answers. The docs have the long ones.
Is there a native Kit (ConvertKit) app?
Yes. Kit (ConvertKit) is a step you add inside a Plandalf sequence: connect the account once, then pick the Kit (ConvertKit) action for each event. No middleware.
What does Plandalf do in Kit (ConvertKit)?
The Kit (ConvertKit) step can add subscriber to sequence, add subscriber to form, tag subscriber, remove tag from subscriber, update subscriber fields, find or create subscriber. Each carries the buyer's email and name, the products, the price paid, the coupon and the offer they bought from.
Can I run a countdown in a Kit (ConvertKit) email?
Yes. Promos render a per-recipient countdown image; drop the URL into a Kit (ConvertKit) email and each subscriber sees a timer pegged to their own deadline.
Does Plandalf send email itself?
Plandalf sends receipts and transactional email. Newsletters, sequences and campaigns stay in Kit (ConvertKit), triggered by what happens at checkout.
Can I disconnect Kit (ConvertKit) later?
Yes. Disconnecting revokes access; contacts already created in Kit (ConvertKit) stay there, and the sequence history stays in Plandalf.
