Revenue reports in Drip, audience in Kit
A seller of workshop tickets wants revenue figures in Drip while the free newsletter stays in Kit. The same checkout feeds both.

Native integration
Kit tags the buyer and Drip records the sale as a revenue event, from one Plandalf sequence.
No credit card required. No coding required.
Kit (ConvertKit)
DripPlandalf does not sync Kit (ConvertKit) with Drip, but both have native steps and triggers. A sequence can tag the buyer in Kit and record a purchase event with revenue in Drip, and a tag in one tool can start a sequence that tags the person in the other.
| Event | From and to | Through | What happens |
|---|---|---|---|
| Checkout completed | Plandalf → Kit | Native step | Tag Subscriber and Add Subscriber to Sequence. Kit does not receive purchases, so the tag carries what was bought. |
| Checkout completed | Plandalf → Drip | Native step | Apply Tag and Record Event, with a value property set to {{trigger.total}}, which is already in cents. Drip counts that value as revenue. |
| Tag added | Kit → Drip | Native step | Pick a Tag on the Kit trigger. The sequence runs Create or Update Subscriber and Apply Tag in Drip. |
| Tag applied | Drip → Kit | Native step | Pick a Tag on the Drip trigger, which also hands over custom_fields. The sequence runs Tag Subscriber in Kit. |
| Invoice refunded | Plandalf → Drip | Native step | Remove access on refund holds Remove Tag in Drip and Remove Tag from Subscriber in Kit, each with the same buyer email. |
Connect Kit with a V4 key, and Drip with an API token and your numeric Account ID.
In Automation, Marketplace, connect Kit and Drip. Drip needs the token from User Settings and the Account ID from Account settings.
Choose Plandalf and Checkout Completed in My Sequences, select the offer and a sample checkout on the Test tab.
Add Kit, Tag Subscriber with a product tag, then Add Subscriber to Sequence if Kit should send the welcome emails.
Add Drip, Record Event with the exact name your Drip workflow starts on, and event properties product and value.
Create a second sequence on the Drip trigger Tag Applied for a chosen tag, and add Kit, Tag Subscriber with the trigger's email.
Testing a step changes real records, so use your own email. Check Drip's activity feed for the event and Kit for the tag.

While one list moves to Drip, a tag applied in Drip is copied back to Kit so the remaining Kit broadcasts still reach the right people.
