What we could not confirm
- A 2026 Black Friday offer. Searching SamCart’s own site on 2026-11-05 returned older Black Friday material (a Black Friday guide page and 2023 blog posts about running your own sale) and no 2026 offer. The Black Friday pages that appeared in the search results returned a 404 when fetched.
- Dates and terms. Nothing is published, so there is nothing to quote.
- Past discounts. We have not found SamCart’s own page stating what it discounted in earlier years, so we do not say.
Black Friday 2026 falls on 27 November. SamCart may announce closer to the date; we recheck this page against SamCart’s pricing page as the date approaches.
How to judge a Black Friday deal when it appears
Run the same checks on any checkout platform’s sale:
- Which plan does it cover? Order bumps and one-click upsells are listed under Pro, not Core, so a Core discount may not include them.
- Does it apply to monthly or yearly billing? A percentage off a monthly price is a smaller commitment than a yearly prepay. Yearly billing already takes 25% off, so compare any deal with $711 a year for Core.
- How long does the price last? Some sales discount the first term only; read the renewal price.
- What are the payment fees? SamCart’s pricing page lists a SamPay rate of 2.9% + 30c on both Core and Pro (checked 5 November 2026). A plan discount does not change processing fees.
- What would you actually use? A discount on features you never switch on is not a saving.
