A service business adding ecommerce flows
Lead nurturing and deal stages stay in ActiveCampaign. When the same business starts selling products through a Plandalf checkout, Klaviyo gets the buyer for the order follow-up flows.

Webhook or Zapier
Running ActiveCampaign and Klaviyo side by side, or moving from one to the other: one checkout can write the buyer to both by webhook.
No credit card required. No coding required.
ActiveCampaign
KlaviyoPlandalf does not sync ActiveCampaign with Klaviyo and has no native step for either. It reaches both with Send Webhook calls to their APIs, so one sequence can write a buyer to each, and an automation in either tool can post to a Plandalf catch URL.
| Event | From and to | Through | What happens |
|---|---|---|---|
| Checkout completed | Plandalf → ActiveCampaign | Webhook | A Send Webhook step posts to the contact sync address on your api-us1.com account, with Api-Token as a header. The body is a contact object, and ActiveCampaign changes only the fields you send. |
| Checkout completed | Plandalf → Klaviyo | Webhook | A second Send Webhook step posts a profile to Klaviyo's profile import. Fields you leave out stay as they were, and a field set to null is cleared. |
| Automation webhook | ActiveCampaign → Plandalf | Webhook | An ActiveCampaign automation posts to a Plandalf catch URL. Plandalf's ActiveCampaign page says the payload is form-encoded with contact[email], which is why testing the sample first matters. |
| Flow webhook | Klaviyo → Plandalf | Webhook | A Klaviyo flow Webhook action posts only JSON, with headers you choose, and each request carries an X-Klaviyo-Flow-ID header naming the flow. |
| Countdown in emails | Plandalf → ActiveCampaign | The countdown image takes %EMAIL% in ActiveCampaign emails and {{ person.email }} in Klaviyo ones, so the same deadline logic works in both tools. |
Have an ActiveCampaign API key and account name, and a Klaviyo private key that can write profiles.
In Automation, My Sequences, create a sequence on Plandalf, Checkout Completed. Choose the offer and a sample checkout on the Test tab.
Add Send Webhook, method POST, to https://youraccountname.api-us1.com/api/3/contact/sync. Add the header Api-Token with your key, and send a contact with email, firstName and lastName.
Add Send Webhook, method POST, to Klaviyo's profile import. Set the Authorization header to Klaviyo-API-Key followed by your private key, a revision header and Content-Type: application/vnd.api+json.
Run each test. ActiveCampaign returns 201 for a new contact and 200 for an update; Klaviyo accepts the import. Open both tools to see the record.
Pick which tool sends marketing emails to buyers first. Keep the other as a record only until you have rebuilt its automations.

Buyers go to both tools through the cutover. ActiveCampaign automations finish for people already inside them, and new flows in Klaviyo take over from the moment of purchase.
