Overview
How Zapier and Plandalf split the work
Plandalf sells and records the purchase. Zapier gets the events and the revenue, so campaigns measure real sales.

- Buyeralex@studio.co
- SequenceWebhook → Zapier
Webhook path available
Plandalf can send selected purchase fields to a Zapier webhook or an endpoint you control. Configure the JSON in Send Webhook, then verify the HTTP response and the destination record before enabling the sequence.

Set it up
Connect Zapier in three steps
The short version. No code unless you want it.
- 1
Pick the trigger
Open Automations, start a sequence and choose what starts it. Checkout completed is the usual one; invoice paid, upsell accepted and cart abandoned are there too.
- 2
Add a Send webhook step, pointed at Zapier
Paste the URL Zapier gives you for incoming data, choose the method, and add any header it needs, such as an API key. A Zapier catch hook works the same way if you would rather build the rest there.
- 3
Shape the payload and switch it on
Map the tested trigger fields to the JSON Zapier expects. Verify a successful HTTP status and the destination record before enabling the sequence and running a new test checkout.
- Also with Promos: enrol participants via Zapier. Promos docs →

Triggers and actions
Start with the sale. Build whatever comes after.
Any checkout event can start an automation with the whole order in hand. Stack the steps, wait between them, branch on what was bought.
Zapier receives this through the Send webhook step. See every integration
Finds Maya in HubSpot, or creates her, and tags the purchase.
Integrations
Keep your site. Upgrade how it sells.
Plus a fully documented REST API and webhook layer for whatever’s not in the list.
Questions
Common questions about Zapier and Plandalf
The short answers. The docs have the long ones.
How does Plandalf connect to Zapier?
Through a sequence step. Add Send webhook, point it at Zapier, choose the fields in the JSON payload, and test the response at your endpoint. The Send Webhook action does not automatically sign requests. A Zapier catch hook works the same way.
What does Plandalf send to Zapier?
The JSON you configure in the Send Webhook action, using fields from the tested trigger. Map the fields Zapier expects and verify its response. Automatic Plandalf signing belongs to the separate webhook endpoint API.
Can I run a countdown in a Zapier email?
Yes. Promos render a per-recipient countdown image; drop the URL into a Zapier email and each subscriber sees a timer pegged to their own deadline.
Does Plandalf send email itself?
Plandalf sends receipts and transactional email. Newsletters, sequences and campaigns stay in Zapier, triggered by what happens at checkout.
Can I disconnect Zapier later?
Yes. Disconnecting revokes access; contacts already created in Zapier stay there, and the sequence history stays in Plandalf.
