# Hosted checkout

Hosted checkout is the simplest way to sell with Plandalf. You point traffic at a Plandalf URL and we handle the page, the payment flow, and the receipt.

## What you control

-   Layout — single-page, multi-page, or totally custom.
-   Theme — colors, typography, custom fonts, custom styles.
-   Mobile rendering — built-in, override-able.

## Testing before you publish

A **test session** uses the configured payment provider’s test environment. Connect test credentials and use that provider’s test payment details. Verify totals, taxes, coupons, invoices, and post-purchase sequences without making a live charge. Test records and automation activity can still be created.

A **preview session** lets you rehearse the interface without capturing a live payment. It is not a read-only guarantee and is not proof that payment or fulfilment works. Use a provider-backed test checkout for that verification.

## Common questions

Can I host this on my own domain?

Yes — connect a custom domain and we serve the checkout from there.

Does mobile rendering need separate work?

Responsive defaults are included, but test your published layout on a phone—especially custom styles, long labels, validation messages, and provider return screens.

What payments are supported?

Stripe and PayPal today.
