**Webflow**

**MailerLite**

## Does Webflow integrate with MailerLite?

Not as a direct sync. Plandalf does not read Webflow forms or orders. A Webflow button opens a Plandalf checkout, and after payment a sequence uses native MailerLite steps to find or create the subscriber, add them to a group and update fields. A new MailerLite subscriber can start a Plandalf sequence.

The SDK script sits in Footer code under Site settings, Custom code. The button's custom attribute names the offer slug.

PlandalfMailerLite

Native step

Find or Create Subscriber returns a `subscriber_id`, which Add Subscriber to Group uses to place the buyer in a group such as Customers.

Invoice paid

PlandalfMailerLite

Native step

Covers renewals and invoices you send, so Update Subscriber Fields can refresh a field like `plan` each time.

Subscriber created

MailerLitePlandalf

Native step

Plandalf adds the webhook to MailerLite when you save the trigger, optionally limited to one group.

Invoice refunded

PlandalfMailerLite

Native step

Remove Subscriber from Group takes a fully refunded buyer out of the group. They stay in your MailerLite account.

## Add Webflow buyers to a MailerLite group

This uses current MailerLite, not MailerLite Classic, and a group you have already made.

1. ### Wire the Webflow button

Footer code gets your Plandalf SDK script. On the Webflow button add the custom attribute `data-plandalf-present` with the offer slug and publish to the domain you will test on.

2. ### Create an API token

In MailerLite open Integrations, find MailerLite API and click Use, then Generate new token. Keep All IPs allowed selected and copy the token straight away, since it is shown once.

3. ### Connect MailerLite

In Plandalf go to Automation, Marketplace, MailerLite, Connect. Paste the token into API Key and look for MailerLite connected.

4. ### Find or create the subscriber

Start a sequence on Checkout Completed for your offer. Add MailerLite, Find or Create Subscriber with Email Address `{{trigger.customer_email}}` and Name `{{trigger.customer_name}}`, then run its test so the next step can read the output.

5. ### Add the group

Add MailerLite, Add Subscriber to Group. Pick `subscriber_id` from the previous step, never the email, and choose the group your MailerLite automation starts from.

6. ### Add the refund sequence

From Automation, Templates add Remove access on refund for the same offer and choose the group in its Remove Subscriber from Group step. Turn both sequences on.

## What sellers do with Webflow and MailerLite

### Newsletter writers selling paid issues

A writer with a Webflow archive page sells a back-catalogue bundle. Buyers join a Bundle group, and a MailerLite automation sends the download links over a few days.

### Small agencies selling productised services

An agency lists fixed-price audits on Webflow. Each paid order puts the client in a Clients group and fills a `company` field so onboarding emails use it.

## Limits and gotchas

- MailerLite Classic accounts use a different API and will not connect.
- Add Subscriber to Group and Update Subscriber Fields need the subscriber ID, not the email. Keep Find or Create Subscriber ahead of them in the sequence.
- The token acts with the rights of the MailerLite user who made it and stops working if that user is removed.
- Custom field keys must exist in MailerLite before Plandalf can fill them, and a wrong key leaves the field unchanged.
- Adding someone to a group does not record that they agreed to marketing email. Cover that in your checkout and terms.

## Webflow and MailerLite: common questions

Does Webflow integrate with MailerLite?

Plandalf does not link them directly. A Webflow page opens a Plandalf checkout, and a Plandalf sequence then adds the buyer to MailerLite after payment. For form signups, check MailerLite's own integrations.

How do I connect MailerLite to a Webflow checkout?

Add the Plandalf script to Webflow's footer code, connect MailerLite with an API token under Automation, then run Find or Create Subscriber and Add Subscriber to Group from a Checkout Completed sequence.

Why did the MailerLite group step say Subscriber ID is required?

The field was empty or held an email address. Pick `subscriber_id` from the Find or Create Subscriber step and check that step runs first.
