## Does Webflow integrate with Kit (ConvertKit)?

Plandalf does not read Webflow forms or Webflow Ecommerce orders. Webflow hosts the page and the Plandalf checkout button; once the order is paid, a Plandalf sequence runs native Kit steps (tag, form, sequence, custom fields). Kit events such as Subscriber Joined Form can start a Plandalf sequence too.

What happens

Buy button clicked

WebflowPlandalf

Checkout embed

A button carrying the `data-plandalf-present` custom attribute opens your offer once the SDK script is in Site settings, Footer code. Webflow keeps the design, Plandalf runs the checkout.

Checkout completed

PlandalfKit

Native step

A paid main checkout starts a sequence whose Kit steps tag the subscriber and add them to a Kit sequence. Kit steps that add something create the subscriber if the email is new.

Upsell accepted

PlandalfKit

Native step

A second sequence on this trigger can apply a different tag, so Kit can separate buyers who took the add-on.

Subscriber joined form

KitPlandalf

Native step

A Kit form signup can start a Plandalf sequence with Enroll in Promo, which gives the person a countdown. The countdown widget then sits on a Webflow div with `data-plandalf-promo`.

Invoice refunded

PlandalfKit

Native step

A refund that succeeds in Stripe starts the Remove access on refund template, which can take the Kit tag back off.

## Tag Webflow buyers in Kit after they pay

You need a Webflow site where custom code is allowed, a published Plandalf offer and a Kit account that can create V4 API keys.

1. ### Add the SDK to the Webflow footer

In Webflow open Site settings, then Custom code, paste your account's Plandalf script into Footer code and save. Add it once for the whole site, not again on individual pages.

2. ### Attach the offer to a button

Style a normal Webflow button, then under Element settings, Custom attributes add `data-plandalf-present` with your offer slug. Publish the site and click the button on the live page, because saved changes only reach visitors after publishing.

3. ### Connect Kit in Plandalf

Create a V4 key in Kit under Settings, Developer. In Plandalf go to Automation, Marketplace, find Kit under Available now and click Connect. Paste the key and wait for Kit connected.

4. ### Build the buyer sequence

Under My Sequences choose Plandalf, Checkout Completed and the offer your Webflow button opens. Add Kit, Tag Subscriber with Email Address `{{trigger.customer_email}}` and a tag such as Webflow customer. Add Kit, Add Subscriber to Sequence for the welcome emails.

5. ### Rehearse the whole path

Switch on Run on test purchases in the sequence settings, buy from the published Webflow page with a Stripe test card, then look at the run's Events view and the subscriber in Kit. Use your own email, because testing a step changes real data in Kit.

## What sellers do with Webflow and Kit (ConvertKit)

### Template and asset shops built in Webflow

A designer selling UI kits from a Webflow site sends each paid order to Kit with a tag per product. The tag decides which product update emails the buyer gets.

### Cohort course landing pages

A coach with a Webflow sales page opens the checkout from the enrol button, then drops each buyer into a Kit sequence with joining instructions. Kit forms on the same page can feed a launch countdown.

## Limits and gotchas

- The Webflow embed does not create Webflow Ecommerce orders or send delivery. Anything the buyer is promised after paying has to be set up in Plandalf, Kit or elsewhere.
- Webflow only allows custom code on certain plans and site plans, so confirm yours before planning the footer script. Webflow's custom-code help lists the current requirements.
- Purchases will not show in Kit's purchase history because Plandalf connects to Kit with an API key. Record what was bought as a tag or custom field.
- Webflow form submissions are not read by Plandalf. If you also want form signups in Kit, use Kit's own form embed or a Webflow tool; Plandalf only acts on its checkout events and on Kit events.
- Data-plandalf-mode set to test does not prove the Stripe connection is a sandbox. Check the actual Stripe test connection before taking test payments.

## Webflow and Kit (ConvertKit): common questions

Does Webflow integrate with Kit?

Not through Plandalf as a direct sync. A Webflow page opens a Plandalf checkout, and after payment a Plandalf sequence tags the buyer in Kit with native steps. For Webflow forms, check Kit's own integrations list.

How do I add Webflow buyers to Kit (ConvertKit)?

Put the Plandalf script in Webflow's footer code, give a button the offer attribute, connect Kit under Automation, then start a sequence on Checkout Completed that runs Kit's Tag Subscriber step.

Can a Kit subscriber see a countdown on my Webflow page?

Yes, with a promo. A Kit form or tag event can start a Plandalf sequence that enrols the person, and a Webflow div with `data-plandalf-promo` renders the countdown. Add `data-plandalf-apply-promo` to the buy button so the price follows the promo.
