Countdown in an email PlandalfActiveCampaign By hand A countdown image tag goes into an HTML block in a campaign, with `%EMAIL%` filling the `ref` value for each recipient. ## Create an ActiveCampaign contact for each Webflow buyer You need your ActiveCampaign API URL and API token, found in the account's developer settings. 1. ### Install the checkout in Webflow Add your Plandalf script to Footer code, set `data-plandalf-present` on the buy button in Element settings, Custom attributes, and publish. 2. ### Collect the ActiveCampaign details Note your account's API URL and create or copy an API token from its developer settings. Check ActiveCampaign's developer docs for the current location of both. 3. ### Create the sequence In Automation, My Sequences pick Plandalf, Checkout Completed and the Webflow offer. Pick a recent checkout as the sample on the Test tab. 4. ### Set up Send Webhook Add Plandalf, Send Webhook. Use POST, your account's contact sync URL, an `Api-Token` header, and a JSON payload shaped as a `contact` object with `email` set to `{{trigger.customer_email}}`, `firstName` and a tags list such as `customer`. 5. ### Test with your own address Run the test. ActiveCampaign answers 201 for a new contact and 200 for an existing one. ActiveCampaign's contact sync endpoint accepts a JSON body, but automation webhooks coming out of ActiveCampaign are form-encoded per Plandalf's notes, so test the inbound side. - The ActiveCampaign API token goes in the step's headers. Keep it out of Webflow custom code and out of anything visitors can read. - Plandalf does not create deals in ActiveCampaign. Contacts and tags are what the sync call covers. - A refund removes nothing from ActiveCampaign automatically.
