Plandalf and HubSpot are not natively connected, and Plandalf does not sync Stripe customers or invoices into HubSpot. HubSpot has its own Stripe payment-processor connection for sales it collects itself. For Plandalf sales, a Send Webhook step can write the buyer to HubSpot's contacts API, or post to a workflow you build. ## What moves between Stripe and HubSpot Event From and to Through What happens Checkout completed Plandalf (paid via Stripe)HubSpot Webhook The Buyers to a CRM by webhook template, or a Send Webhook step you write, posts the buyer's email, name, offer and invoice. Aimed at HubSpot's contacts API it creates or updates the contact. Invoice refunded StripeHubSpot Webhook A refund that succeeds in Stripe starts Invoice Refunded. A webhook step can set a contact property so a HubSpot list or workflow reacts to the refund. HubSpot invoice or payment link HubSpotStripe By hand If you connect Stripe to HubSpot as a payment processor, HubSpot's own invoices, quotes and payment links charge through it. That is HubSpot's feature, separate from a Plandalf checkout. ## Create a HubSpot contact for every Plandalf buyer You need a published Plandalf checkout on Stripe and a HubSpot private app token that can write contacts. 1. ### Get a HubSpot token Create a private app in HubSpot with permission to write contacts and copy its access token. Check HubSpot's developer docs for the exact scope names and header format. 2. ### Add the template or build a sequence In Plandalf open Automation, then Templates, and add Buyers to a CRM by webhook for your checkout. Or create the sequence yourself with Checkout Completed as the trigger. 3. ### Point Send Webhook at HubSpot Set the URL to HubSpot's batch upsert contacts path, the method to POST and an `Authorization` header holding the bearer token. Batch upsert matches on `email`, so a returning buyer updates rather than duplicates. 4. ### Write the body Set `idProperty` to `email` and the input's `id` to `{{trigger.customer_email}}`, then add properties for first name from `{{trigger.customer_first_name}}` and last name from `{{trigger.customer_last_name}}`. HubSpot notes that partial upserts are not supported when email is the identifier, so read its page before trimming fields. 5. ### Test the step On the Test tab pick a recent checkout as the sample, run the step and open the contact in HubSpot. The step test is real, so use your own email. 6. ### Add the refund path Create a second sequence on Invoice Refunded with Full refunds only left on, and send a property update so HubSpot can remove the contact from a customers list. ## What sellers do with Stripe and HubSpot ### Fixed-price packages with a sales owner A sales team wants every package buyer in HubSpot with an offer property, so the account manager sees who bought before the kickoff email goes out. ### Webinar paid seats with sales follow-up Paid attendees are written to HubSpot as contacts, and a workflow assigns an owner to anyone who bought the premium seat. ### Deadline promo for existing leads Contacts that reach a lifecycle stage enter a HubSpot workflow that sends a webhook to Plandalf, which starts that contact's countdown. ## Limits and gotchas - HubSpot's Send a webhook action is available with Data Hub Professional or Enterprise, needs Edit or Super Admin permissions, and only accepts HTTPS URLs. Plandalf's older platform page names a different hub, so check your HubSpot subscription. - HubSpot's article on connecting Stripe describes payments collected through HubSpot, and says it does not address payments made directly in Stripe. Do not expect a Plandalf sale to appear in HubSpot payments. - One Stripe account can connect to one HubSpot account, and HubSpot Payments and a connected Stripe account cannot both be on. Check this before you switch if you already use HubSpot invoicing. - A webhook step does not create a deal. Contact upsert is a separate call from deal creation, and each needs its own step and mapping. - Plandalf's Send Webhook is a configured HTTP request. It waits 30 seconds for a reply and promises no retries, so read the Events view after the first live sale. ## Stripe and HubSpot: common questions Does Stripe integrate with HubSpot? Yes, HubSpot lets you connect a Stripe account as its payment processor for HubSpot invoices, quotes and payment links. That is separate from Plandalf, which reaches HubSpot by webhook after its own checkout. How do I connect Stripe to HubSpot? For HubSpot's own payments, connect Stripe from HubSpot's payment settings as a Super Admin. For Plandalf purchases, publish a Stripe-backed checkout and add a Send Webhook step to HubSpot's contacts API. Can Plandalf send Stripe purchases to HubSpot? Yes, as a webhook that writes a contact, which you build. Plandalf has no HubSpot app, so it will not create deals, line items or payments on its own. Can a HubSpot workflow start a Plandalf countdown? Yes, with a Send a webhook action that posts to a Plandalf catch URL.
