## Does HTML integrate with Flodesk?
Plandalf has no native Flodesk steps. A static HTML page loads the Plandalf script and opens the offer; after payment a Send Webhook step can call Flodesk's API to add the buyer to a segment, or you can route it through Zapier's Webhooks. Flodesk also lists its own webhooks for subscriber events.

An image tag in a Flodesk HTML block shows the countdown. Per-recipient deadlines depend on the merge tag your Flodesk plan supports.
## Segment buyers from a static page into Flodesk
No framework is needed on the page. Flodesk's API uses a personal API key with Basic authentication.
1. ### Add the script and a button
Put the SDK script tag on the page, then a button with `data-plandalf-present` set to the offer slug. Open the page, click through, and check the amount before wiring anything else.
2. ### Create the Flodesk segment
In Flodesk make a segment for buyers and build the workflow that starts when someone is added to it. Note the segment ID.
3. ### Get a Flodesk API key
Create a personal API key in your Flodesk account and read Flodesk's API docs for how to send it as a Basic authorization header.
4. ### Build the sequence
Start on Checkout Completed for your offer. Add Send Webhook, method POST, the subscribers URL, the Authorization header and a JSON payload with `email` as `{{trigger.customer_email}}`, `first_name` from the first name variable and `segment_ids` as a list holding your segment ID.
5. ### Test the whole route
Run the step's test with your own email, look for the subscriber and segment in Flodesk, then buy with a Stripe test card and Run on test purchases on.
## What sellers do with HTML and Flodesk
### Photographers and designers on hand-built sites
A static portfolio sells a print guide. Buyers land in a Flodesk segment that triggers a delivery email, with a countdown image for the next release.
### Event pages without a CMS
A one-page site sells tickets, adds each buyer to a segment and lets a Flodesk workflow send reminders closer to the date.
## Limits and gotchas
- Flodesk's API limits are 100 requests a minute by default and 20 a minute for the batch endpoint, per its developer docs.
- A Flodesk workflow can start from a segment, but Plandalf's notes say Flodesk has no native webhook action in workflows. Zapier is the usual route for events leaving Flodesk.
- Flodesk's merge-tag support varies by plan, so a countdown with a personal deadline may fall back to a deadline per visitor.
- A refund does not take anyone out of a segment. Add a sequence on Invoice Refunded that calls Flodesk's segment endpoints if you need that.

Does HTML integrate with Flodesk?
Plandalf connects them only indirectly. A plain HTML page hosts the Plandalf checkout, and a Send Webhook step can add the buyer to a Flodesk segment through Flodesk's API.
How do I add checkout buyers to Flodesk?
Use a Checkout Completed sequence with Send Webhook to Flodesk's create or update subscriber endpoint, passing the email and a segment ID, with your key in the Authorization header.
Can Flodesk start a Plandalf promo?
Yes. Route new subscribers through a Zap with Webhooks by Zapier to a Plandalf catch URL, or test one of Flodesk's own subscriber webhooks against it.
