## Does Kit (ConvertKit) integrate with Drip?

Plandalf does not sync Kit (ConvertKit) with Drip, but both have native steps and triggers. A sequence can tag the buyer in Kit and record a purchase event with revenue in Drip, and a tag in one tool can start a sequence that tags the person in the other.

## Revenue event in Drip, tag in Kit

Connect Kit with a V4 key, and Drip with an API token and your numeric Account ID.

1. ### Connect both

In Automation, Marketplace, connect Kit and Drip. Drip needs the token from User Settings and the Account ID from Account settings.

2. ### Create the purchase sequence

Choose Plandalf and Checkout Completed in My Sequences, select the offer and a sample checkout on the Test tab.

3. ### Tag in Kit

Add Kit, Tag Subscriber with a product tag, then Add Subscriber to Sequence if Kit should send the welcome emails.

4. ### Record the sale in Drip

Add Drip, Record Event with the exact name your Drip workflow starts on, and event properties `product` and `value`.

5. ### Mirror a tag the other way

Create a second sequence on the Drip trigger Tag Applied for a chosen tag, and add Kit, Tag Subscriber with the trigger's `email`.

6. ### Test

Testing a step changes real records, so use your own email. Check Drip's activity feed for the event and Kit for the tag.

## What sellers do with Kit (ConvertKit) and Drip

### Revenue reports in Drip, audience in Kit

A seller of workshop tickets wants revenue figures in Drip while the free newsletter stays in Kit. The same checkout feeds both.

### Moving subscribers by tag during a switch

While one list moves to Drip, a tag applied in Drip is copied back to Kit so the remaining Kit broadcasts still reach the right people.

## Limits and gotchas

- Kit takes no purchase records from Plandalf, so revenue lives in Drip's event `value`, not in Kit.
- Drip allows 3,600 requests an hour per account and refuses two changes to the same subscriber at the same moment. Kit allows 120 requests a minute per key.
- Drip has webhook events beyond subscriber created, tag applied and unsubscribed, such as opens and clicks, and Plandalf has no triggers for them.
- If you mirror tags in both directions, a tag that one sequence applies may fire the other tool's trigger and send the tag back. Watch the Events view on the first runs to be sure it does not loop.
- The refund template's Full refunds only setting leaves both tags alone after a partial refund.

## Kit (ConvertKit) and Drip: common questions

Does Kit integrate with Drip?

Plandalf does not sync them, but both have native steps, so one sequence can tag the buyer in Kit and record a revenue event in Drip.

How do I connect ConvertKit to Drip?

Connect both in Automation, then build a sequence on Checkout Completed that runs Kit's Tag Subscriber and Drip's Record Event, or start from a Kit or Drip tag trigger.

Can a Drip tag create a Kit tag?

Yes. The Drip Tag Applied trigger starts a sequence that runs Kit's Tag Subscriber for the same email.

Where does revenue show up?

In Drip, from the event's `value` property in cents. Kit has no purchase record from Plandalf.
